Product Description
Ideal for viewing brighter deep sky objects, the Orion Observer 134mm EQ Reflector Telescope is the perfect choice for both solo stargazing and family exploration of the night sky.
Featuring a 134mm parabolic primary mirror and 650mm focal length, this telescope provides sharp and bright images of celestial objects such as the lunar surface, Saturn's rings, and popular deep-sky targets like the Lagoon and Orion nebulas, and the Andromeda galaxy.
Supported by a sturdy EQ3 equatorial mount with an adjustable aluminum tripod, this telescope offers a Vixen-style dovetail mounting saddle for quick setup and easy transport. The optical tube is held in felt-lined tube rings that allow for quick adjustment to ensure comfortable viewing. Dual slow-motion cables enable manual tracking of celestial objects for extended viewing pleasure.
Included with the telescope are two high-quality 1.25" Plossl eyepieces - a 25mm for low-power views at 26x magnification, and a 10mm for closer views at 65x. Both eyepieces feature anti-reflection coatings for optimal light transmission and are threaded to accept optional Orion filters. A 6x30 finder scope is also included to assist in locating and centering your target objects.
Weighing just over 18 lbs, this telescope is portable enough for backyard stargazing while still providing a stable viewing experience. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate stargazer, the Orion Observer 134mm EQ Reflector Telescope offers a captivating look at the wonders of the night sky.
